Cerise and Nick
Cerise and Nick were absolute dream clients. Both experienced photographers themselves, they were totally up for just going for it and trusting the process. We kicked things off with a practice run at Omaha Beach on a scorching hot day. Cerise planned to dip her toes in the water… which quickly turned into a full-on swim, fully clothed. It led to some beautiful, relaxed moments and lovely images of the two of them on the beach, reflected in the wet sand as the light softened.
The wedding day followed suit—just as hot, if not hotter! The light was incredibly bright, but with Cerise and Nick so completely present and unafraid to show their emotions, we captured photographs filled with genuine love, connection, and feeling. When a couple lets themselves fully experience the day, it always shines through in the images.
The reception was held at the wonderful The Stables Matakana, a beautifully relaxed setting that suited the vibe of the day perfectly. After some powerful speeches and great food, the atmosphere softened even further, giving way to more priceless moments as guests relaxed, connected, and truly soaked it all in.
