Jade and Ben are such a beautiful couple who give off real “soulmate” vibes from the moment you meet them. One of the things I love most about Kumeu Valley Estate is its versatility — with multiple ceremony locations to choose from, couples can shape the day to suit both their vision and the ever-changing Auckland weather. Whether indoors or out, the space always feels intimate, polished, and beautifully considered.
Jade began her day at Lavender Hill Farm, which is every bit as charming as it sounds. It’s such a peaceful, picturesque spot — the kind of place that naturally sets the tone for a relaxed and meaningful start to the day. We also chose this location for their first look and practice shoot, giving them a chance to connect, settle the nerves, and simply enjoy a quiet moment together before everything began. Those early moments are often some of the most special, and this setting made them even more so.
As the day unfolded, it was filled with warmth, laughter, and so many genuine interactions. Their friends and family were incredibly welcoming — the kind of people who make you feel like part of the celebration rather than just there to document it. There was a real sense of joy in the air, the kind that builds naturally when two people are so clearly meant for each other.
