Franklin Sunflower Fields 2024

This year I am offering mini portrait sessions at the Franklin sunflower fields. These are weather dependent in a couple of ways. We don’t know when the fields will open until near the time of them blooming and rain may close the fields on the day.

Options

Friday

The aim is to book a field for a Friday 4pm-8pm session so that we get the best light. I will keep everyone updated by email of when the shoot will be, if you can’t make it when I announce the date that’s fine, there’s no fee but once you confirm you will be charged.

This is probably the best option as we get the whole field rather than go with the general public on the weekends so that we have space to shoot without people in the background - these fields are getting very popular now. If there is enough demand, I will run a second session.

I am offering 2 basic options for the mini sessions but I can price for a longer shoot on request.

Pricing is really simple; 30 minutes is $150 and 60 minutes $300 subject to availability. the field cost is $100 per hour and is included in these prices. I will provide 3 edited shots per 30 minutes of shoot time, but you can always choose to pay for more edits if you want to.

Saturday

This will suit those who can’t get along on the Friday or those looking for a slightly cheaper option.

The aim is to be there on a Saturday from 4pm-8pm session so that we get the best light. I will keep everyone updated by email of when the shoot will be, if you can’t make it when I announce the date that’s fine, there’s no fee but once you confirm you will be charged.

This option is shared with the general public so please be aware that we might have people in the background - these fields are getting very popular now.
